PFAS-transport från mark till grundvatten - En studie om transportpåverkande faktorer vid brandövningsplatsen på Arlanda

De kallas ”evighetskemikalier” Det började med att öka flygsäkerheten på Arlanda men har idag lett till en miljömässig påverkan. De så kallade evighetskemikalierna, PFAS, sprider sig i marken och grundvattnet vid Sveriges största flygplats. Men vad är det egentligen som sker under markytan som inte syns med blotta ögat? PFAS är kemikalier som är stabila och mycket svårnedbrytbara i naturen. Det mPFAS contamination has been identified at numerous sites worldwide, particularly at firefigh-ting training facilities. Firefighting foams, Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF), used at these facilities often contain PFAS as their active substance.
