Banks' Credit-Portfolio Choices and Risk-Based Capital Regulation
To address banks’ risk taking during the recent financial crisis, we develop a model of credit-portfolio optimization and study the impact of risk-based capital regulation (Basel Accords) on banks’ asset allocations.
