In the present study, the thermal and hydraulic characteristics of a rectangular duct with aspect ratio of 1/8 roughened by broken V-shaped ribs pointing upstream are investigated experimentally using Liquid Crystal Thermography (LCT) and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV).
