Quantification of parameters of a simple dynamic glucose-insulin model was performed. Measured data from seven test subjects were used. The Model was simulated by SIMNON and optimized by OPTA. The influence from the solids-liquid separator on the biological activities in the aeration tank is examined. The dynamics of the different separator models is discussed.
