Progressive capillary loss over a decade in patients with systemic sclerosis, in particular in patients with early digital ischaemic manifestations.
Objective: Characteristic capillary abnormalities occur early in systemic sclerosis (SSc). Our aim was to study the longitudinal development of capillary density in SSc patients. Methods: Forty-eight consecutive patients with SSc fulfilling a follow-up of at least 8 years were retrospectively analysed for capillary loss over the observation period. Eleven had diffuse cutaneous SSc (dcSSc) and 37 l

“Shale gas development will bring local economic benefits”. An analysis of central Appalachian landowners' lived experience and situated knowledge of extractivism
Extractivism is notorious for causing environmental destruction, resulting in worsened living conditions for those residing near sites of, among other processes, mining, logging, and hydraulic fracturing. Yet, companies can operate in certain areas because they mobilize narratives, often supported by governments and local authorities, asserting that extraction will bring local economic benefits in
Deepening the degrowth planning debate: division of labor, complexity, and the roles of markets and digital tools
Many definitions of degrowth highlight that the corresponding great and deep transformations are going to be “designed,” “planned,” and “democratic.” However, critical issues of democratic planning have only recently begun to be discussed. Considering a range of aspects of the technical and social division of labor, the article first revisits some of the main issues of market vis-à-vis planned res
Space and practices : Engagement of children under 3 with tablets and televisions in homes in Spain, Sweden and England
Young children’s engagements with digital technologies form part of their emergent everyday literacy practices. The study reported here derives from the pan-European study ‘A Day in the Digital Lives of Children aged 0-3’. The methodology was centred on the videoing of an entire day’s experiences of a child aged under 3, together with a reflective interview with the parents and inventories related
ALMA OBSERVATIONS of Lyα BLOB 1 : HALO SUBSTRUCTURE ILLUMINATED from WITHIN
We present new Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Array (ALMA) 850 μm continuum observations of the original Lyα Blob (LAB) in the SSA22 field at z = 3.1 (SSA22-LAB01). The ALMA map resolves the previously identified submillimeter source into three components with a total flux density of S 850 = 1.68 ± 0.06 mJy, corresponding to a star-formation rate of ∼150 M o yr-1. The submillimeter sources
”Vad ska vi ´lilla socialtjänsten´ säga när rätten har beslutat” - En kvalitativ studie om socialsekreterares uppfattningar gällande fallet ”Lilla hjärtat”

Observations of Igneous Subsurface Stratigraphy during the Jezero Crater Floor Rapid Traverse from the RIMFAX Ground-penetrating Radar
Perseverance traversed the eastern, northern, and western margins of the Séítah formation inlier on the rover’s western fan front approach. Mapping the stratigraphy and extent of the Máaz and Séítah formations is key to understanding the depositional history and timing of crater floor resurfacing events. Perseverance's rapid progress across the Jezero crater floor between the Octavia E. Butler lan
