Assessment and examination

The course syllabus contains information about how the learning outcomes are assessed and graded, and your teacher provides you with detailed descriptions.  Various forms of assessment are used: written invigilated exams, take-home exams, digital exams (Zoom exams) and oral exams. For take-home exams and oral exams, your teacher will provide instructions. For all exams, you will need to present valid photo identification, and of course follow the instructions. Remember that you are responsible for knowing them and for requesting clarification.

Important to know about sitting an exam

  • You are allowed to arrive no more than 30 minutes late to an exam. After 30 minutes, the doors will be definitively closed.
  • You must bring a valid ID-card (provisional passports and LU cards do not constitute a valid form of identification).
  • Don't forget to sign up for your exam in Ladok.
