The Student Union

For many students in Lund, student unions are a big part of their social and academic life. Student unions are organized by subjects, and if you study at CTR or another department of the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology your union is HTS – Humanistiska och teologiska studentkåren. The most important task of the student union is its continuous work to uphold and improve the quality of the education. This includes working for a good physical and social environment, ensuring student representation is present on different boards where decisions regarding education are made, and anything related to the everyday life of HT-students. The HTS also supports its members in case of difficulties, should you encounter problems with your courses or literature, teachers, supervisors, discrimination or other issues related to the working environment.
