Syftet med studien var att undersöka om patienter som erhåller specialiserad palliativ hemsjukvård (SPH) får bättre palliativ vård, med färre besök på akutmottagning och vårddagar på sjukhus samt i högre utsträckning kan dö i sitt eget hem jämfört med de patienter som inte ansluts till SPH.
