Rum och tid: om tillkomsten av durativ temporal betydelse hos prepositionen "under"
In Early Scandinavian "under" was used as a preposition with the local meaning 'under', 'below' and possibly also (as in German) 'among', 'between'. During the Middle Ages the preposition also aquired the temporal meaning 'during'. It is discussed whether and how the new meaning can be explained from one of the original local meanings.
