On 24 October, 28 new professors were inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor at the inauguration ceremony for new professors in a packed auditorium of the Main University Building. The ceremony was also attended by musicians and singers from the Lund University Academic Orchestra and Lund University Academic Choir at Odeum.
