Born in 1970, ThD, adjunct professor of Curch History.

My current research interests include the Church of Sweden as a civil society organisation as well as enlightenemnt and confessional culture in early-modern Sweden. As a researcher I have been involved in several major research projects. As one of the members of the research group "Christian manliness - a paradox of modernity?" (a project financed by the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation) I studied the making of manhood among Swedish missionaries in late nineteenth-century China. Before that my main reserch focus was on issues of anti-Catholicism and tolerance in nineteenth-century England. I have also been involved in the EU-project "Churches and European Integration" (University of Helsinki) as well as "The Dynamics of Religious Reform in Northern Europe, 1780-1920" (Universities of Wales and Leuven).

My position as adjunct professor is the result of an agreement between CTR and the Diocese of Växjö, Church of Sweden.
