I am a doctoral student in Practical Theology with research interests in diaconia, professional identity, and lived theology.

My doctoral research project focuses on entering professional church ministry and on how newly employed church professionals experience, interpret and reflect on their first years in professional practice. This includes questions of education and preparation for ministry, vocation and the formation of professional identity. The study focuses particularly on deacons in the Church of Sweden and church and cultural workers in the Church of Denmark.

A broader interest is how theology expressed in lived practice and in practitioners’ reflections can enter into dialogue with academic and normative theological traditions.
