Kayfabe Making, Kayfabe Breaking: Trump, Authenticity, and the Politics of Unmasking
The Beyond Truth and Lies project will host Lund University research fellow Aaron James Goldman for a seminar about his research in progress titled “Kayfabe Making, Kayfabe Breaking: Trump, Authenticity, and the Politics of Unmasking” in LUX B417 on 19 June 2025, 16:15–18:00, followed by a post-seminar at Lundabryggeriets Ölkällare. (There will be no Zoom option to attend.)
The seminar will only feature a short presentation by Aaron, and will presume that you have read his draft paper in advance in preparation for discussion. If you are interested, please notify Aaron via aaron.goldman@ctr.lu.se by 8 June, so that he can distribute his paper draft to you approximately a week in advance, and so he can reserve an adequate number of seats at Ölkällaren.
More information, including an abstract, is available on Beyond Truth and Lies’ website.
