Wisdom on the Move: Late Antique Traditions in Multicultural Conversation – a Symposium in Honor of Samuel Rubenson
Samuel Rubenson has been professor of Church History at the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies since 1999. The symposium Wisdom on the Move celebrates his scholarly contributions and legacy with a theme that has been central to his research: the transmission of wisdom traditions in Late Antiquity – across cultural and religious borders. Leading scholars from various parts of the world will approach this complex material from a wide range of perspectives.

The symposium begins at 1.00 PM. At 6.30 PM, there will be a dinner in the LUX staff dining room.
